Puppy socialisation and first partial trims, to acclimatise your little one to the grooming process, are offered from £15 charge (depending upon the size of the dog and breed type). We do face, feet, toilet areas and nail trims, with ear plucking (if a necessity for some breeds). It’s really important that your puppy’s first experience is a positive one; start as you mean to go on!  We give you free advice to set you off on the right track for coat care; buying the right grooming tools and equipment for your pet is essential.

Please note, if you require a bespoke groom, longer style, or special show style groom please notify us in advance. This service will incur an additional cost on top of the basic groom price (see our pricing page) as extra time is required.

All the time your dog is in our care you will be fully insured for transportation from the moment collection is made until the return again of your dog.

Please don’t be misguided in buying a tool with a rake and a blade on it. Usually advertised on TV shop monitors or dog-related shows. For approx. £30 this tool has a concealed cutting blade. It will always remove hair but not by your dog’s natural shredding process, it will literally cut the coat so every stroke will fool you into thinking your dog is moulting.

This can result in splitting the hair, resulting in a brittle coat regrowth.
